Equity Dealer

Role Overview

Responsibility for Equity Market Dealer will execute trades across Indian financial markets with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for order execution, maintaining relationships with brokers, and ensuring best execution practices while managing market impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute buy and sell orders for equity portfolios across NSE and BSE with minimal market impact
• Monitor real-time market movements and provide timely execution updates to portfolio managers
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers and counterparties to ensure competitive pricing and liquidity access
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal trading policies
• Optimize execution strategies including VWAP, TWAP, and algorithmic trading based on market conditions
• Track and report trading costs, slippage, and execution quality metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in equity dealing, preferably in institutional asset management
• NISM Series VIII certification (Equity Derivatives) is mandatory
• Strong understanding of Indian equity markets, trading mechanisms, and settlement processes
• Proficiency in trading platforms and order management systems
• Excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
