Position Objective:
Operating within Halmas complex environment of HQ and 40+ companies, the Senior Consultant will support the setup of the Groups future Finance EPM solution and ERP migrations. The role combines solution design, configuration, and implementation with acting as a Finance domain SME (AR, AP, GL, Accounting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Accounting, Sales Orders, Invoicing), and leading design and discovery sessions across operating companies as part of Halmas finance transformation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and deploy CCH Tagetik EPM solutions, including Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, and Reporting.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional and technical Tagetik configurations.
- Configure and maintain data models, dimensions, workflows, business rules, and forms within Tagetik.
- Manage day-to-day application administration, including user access, security, metadata, and system monitoring.
- Support data integrations from ERPs, Excel, and databases using Tagetik ETL tools or flat-file interfaces.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and management reporting packs.
- Support testing activities (UAT), validation, and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot application issues, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
- Provide functional support to finance users during planning cycles, month-end close, and forecast updates.
- Prepare system documentation and support user training and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with Group and Operating Companies to maintain the current solution and proactively drive improvements.
- Proactively identify optimisation and process efficiency opportunities across the Group and Operating Companies.
- Drive change, adoption, and resolution of operational requests across Group and Operating Companies.
- Act as the global Finance solutions SME, owning system configuration and customisation across the EPM suite.
- Partner with vendors, system integrators, and service providers to deliver finance initiatives.
- Apply strong analytical skills to interrogate complex data sets, synthesise insights, and present clear summaries to stakeholders.
Critical Success Factor:
- Hands-on expertise in CCH Tagetik/EPM configuration, including metadata and dimension management, business rules, workflows, data forms, and security administration.
- Solid understanding of data integration concepts (ETL, flat files, ERP feeds) with basic to intermediate SQL and relational database knowledge.
- Proven delivery of multiple EPM and ERP implementations within large, complex, multi-geography and multi-operating-company environments.
- Experience working in Agile delivery models using modern tooling such as Azure DevOps.
Qualification:
- B.Tech/MBA/PGDM (Finance)
Experience:
- 4-6 years with CCH Tagetik/EPM implementations or production support, with a solid understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.
