Job Description:

• Implement and handle processes and systems comprising Environment risk management and compliance.
• Support to implement of Environmental programs and initiatives for environmental commitment
•  Effective planning for emergency response, train the workforce and coordinate to conduct the emergency exercise in the view of environmental management.
•  Participate in incident investigations based on incident classification in partnership with specialists internally and externally or regulatory authorities to identify the root cause and help prevent recurrence.
• Monitor environmental performance as per defined metrics by SPCB/ CPCB.
• Regulate employees on compliance with control on emission, generation of waste and consumption of natural resources for the environmental performance.
• Support in ISO compliance, Corporate EHS standard compliance and compliance of all applicable local, state and federal environmental regulations including documentation, reporting, permits, manifests, etc.
• Perform audits throughout the manufacturing operations and work with department leaders to reduce the environmental risk.
• Support appropriate training content and delivery mode, in line with global and regional requirements, conduct gap assessment to identify training needs and adjust curriculum to reflect Facility specific needs.
•  Understand applicable environmental requirements to contractor and external service providers, implement, monitor and evaluate approved processes to control environmental risks with contractors.
•   Other duties as assigned.

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Environmental science / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Environment Specialization
• Experience: 

         10-15 Years of experience in Manufacturing/ Engineering Industry.
