Environmental Graphics Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talentedVisual Designer / Illustrator / Environmental Graphic Designer with a strong background inenvironmental graphics, storytelling, and large-format design . The role involves translating concepts into compelling visual narratives for physical spacesranging from murals, signage, and installations to immersive branded environments.

You will work closely witharchitects, interior designers, project managers, and fabricators to bring creative ideas to reality at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept Development : Create visual concepts, illustrations, and mood boards that align with client brand guidelines and project themes.
• Environmental Graphic Design : Design graphics for walls, partitions, wayfinding, and installations that integrate seamlessly with spatial design.
• Illustration : Produce custom hand-drawn or digital illustrations for wallpapers, murals, and bespoke artworks.
• Visualization : Prepare 2D/3D mockups to showcase how designs will appear in real environments.
• Collaboration : Partner with architects, interior designers, and production teams to ensure creative intent translates into execution.
• Technical Drawings : Develop print-ready artwork files (large format, vector-based) and provide specifications for fabrication.
• Branding Integration : Interpret brand identity and values into physical space graphics that enhance employee and visitor experience.
• Trend Research : Stay updated on global design trends in EGD, illustration, and materials/finishes.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelors degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Experience : 25 years of experience in visual design, illustration, or EGD. Experience in signage/wayfinding/wall graphics is a plus.
• Skills :
• Strong portfolio showcasingillustration + large-format/environmental design work .
• Proficiency inAdobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) .
• Knowledge ofSketchUp / Rhino / AutoCAD (basic) for spatial visualization is an advantage.
• Strong illustration skills (hand-drawn + digital).
• Ability to design across scalesfrom small details to large wall graphics.
• Understanding of print production, materials, and fabrication processes.
