Enterprise Resources Planning Manager

About the Role

The Manager ERP will lead the implementation, migration, and ongoing management of the enterprise resource planning system at DP Abhushan Ltd. This is a technical leadership role requiring hands-on expertise in database management, programming, and ERP systems. The position serves as the single point of contact between DP Abhushan and the ERP provider, with full accountability for system performance, data integrity, and successful migration delivery.

Responsibilities

ERP Implementation & Migration

• Lead end-to-end ERP migration project from legacy systems to new platform
• Develop detailed migration plan including timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with ERP provider on implementation methodology, configuration, and customization
• Manage data migration process ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-migration validation

System Management & Operations

• Manage current data operations and ensure data accuracy across systems
• Oversee daily ERP operations including system performance, availability, and reliability
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures
• Maintain ERP database architecture and optimize performance
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as single point of contact between DP Abhushan and ERP provider
• Coordinate with vendor on technical requirements, issue resolution, and service delivery
• Manage vendor relationship including SLAs, escalations, and contract compliance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, supply chain, and retail
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for ERP configuration

Technical Development

• Develop and maintain custom integrations between ERP and other business systems
• Write scripts and programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Build reports, dashboards, and analytics using ERP tools and database queries
• Maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and data structures
• Document technical specifications, processes, and system configurations

Data Governance

• Establish data quality standards and validation protocols
• Implement data security measures and access controls
• Manage master data including products, customers, vendors, and inventory
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ERP systems, implementation, and management
• Proven track record leading ERP migration projects from planning to go-live
• Hands-on experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or similar)
• Strong programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar
• Experience working with ERP providers and managing vendor relationships
• Background in retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience in jewellery, retail, or luxury goods sectors
• Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain systems specific to retail
• Experience with e-commerce integration with ERP systems
• Certification in relevant ERP platform
• Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
