We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in General Insurance and Motor Insurance to lead enterprise-wide legacy modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

This role will drive the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology roadmaps, and multi-squad delivery teams across modernization programs.

Location: India

Mode of Working: Remote

Experience Level: 12+ years in IT with 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture

Certification: TOGAF (or equivalent) Required

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern the modernization roadmap to transform legacy insurance platforms into modular, service-oriented, cloud-ready architectures
• Provide architecture leadership and direction across multiple delivery squads
• Ensure cross-team alignment through API, data, cloud, security, and integration standards
• Lead business capability mapping and value-stream alignment to ensure technology supports business priorities
• Design future-state architectures supporting policy administration, underwriting, claims management, and customer engagement
• Establish and lead Architecture Governance Forums (ARB / ADA)
• Produce reference architectures, architecture decisions, and modernization guidelines for delivery teams

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience, including Enterprise Architecture leadership
• Strong experience in General Insurance / Motor Insurance systems
• TOGAF Certified (or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification)
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification (or equivalent cloud certification)
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools (TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate, Sparx EA)
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale architectures in complex environments

Preferred

• Experience with BNM / ISM regulatory standards
• Exposure to legacy modernization and coexistence architecture
• Strong understanding of microservices, API-led integration, and cloud-native architectures
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
