Job Description
The Enterprise Architect Governance is a strategic role responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing governance frameworks, policies, and standards that align IT and business strategies. This role ensures effective oversight of architectural compliance, risk management, and regulatory adherence across AXAs digital landscape. Additionally, this role provides critical support to the Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Project Management Office (PMO) functions to drive efficiency, consistency, and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure architectural compliance and support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to architectural standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate architecture reviews, audits, and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Promote a culture of governance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the enterprise architecture function.
- Support the evaluation of suitable technology solutions aligned with architecture standards.
- Support the formalization of architecture deliverables such as blueprints, heat maps, and other artifacts.
- Assist in architecture analysis and study efforts, including problem statements, objectives, and areas for improvement.
- Engage stakeholders and contributors, communicating architecture strategies and insights effectively.
- Assist in meeting preparation, organization, and minute-taking to ensure effective communication.
- Support follow-up and tracking of action items to ensure their timely completion.
- Contribute to metrics campaign activities, including organization, process updates, and preparation.
- Collect metrics data, perform quality checks, and ensure consistency for accurate reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of metrics dashboards and reports to facilitate decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (Typically 8+ years) in enterprise architecture, with a focus on governance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards relevant to insurance and financial services.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Experience supporting Enterprise architecture governance and metrics management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead governance initiatives and drive organizational change.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
