Summary: As an Enterprise Architect, you will define and implement enterprise architecture strategies and operating models. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to articulate a compelling vision for enterprise architecture, developing a target state, and creating a transformation roadmap that aligns with organizational goals. You will engage in discussions that shape the future of the enterprise, ensuring that architectural decisions support business objectives and drive innovation across the organization.We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Architect with deep expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale integration solutions for ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance Platform). This role requires someone who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on technologist, with the ability to design scalable, secure, and performant integration architectures while guiding engineering teams through complex implementations. The Integration Architect will play a critical role in enabling seamless integration between ALIP and enterprise ecosystems, ensuring resiliency, high availability, and performance across distributed systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have influencing and advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders. - Mentor junior professionals in architectural best practices and methodologies. - Architecture & Design: Define and own the integration architecture strategy for ALIP implementations across enterprise systems.Design high-performance, scalable, and secure integrations leveraging REST, SOAP, messaging, and event-driven architectures.Model and document end-to-end integration flows using enterprise modeling tools. - Technical Leadership: Provide architectural governance and best practices across distributed, multi-threaded, and cloud-based systems. Drive event streaming and messaging solutions (Kafka and related technologies) for real-time data processing. Anticipate and address challenges such as race conditions, thread-safety, concurrency control, and scalability bottlenecks. - Performance & Reliability: Optimize integrations for high throughput, low latency, and resiliency. Partner with engineering teams to implement APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.) for monitoring and performance tuning. Lead design reviews and conduct performance benchmarking for mission-critical workloads. - Hands-On Delivery: Build and validate prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and reference implementations. Engage in hands-on coding, debugging, and performance tuning where needed. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP). - Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. - Experience with cloud computing and integration strategies. - Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the insurance industry. - 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration and distributed system design. - Strong expertise in REST, SOAP, security protocols (OAuth, SAML, TLS), and API design. - Proven experience in multi-threading, concurrency handling, and race condition resolution. - Expertise with Kafka (or equivalent event streaming platforms) including architecture, design, and performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic). - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and cloud-native integration approaches. - Proficiency with modelling tools (UML, ArchiMate, ERD, BPMN). - Track record of delivering highly scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions in enterprise environments. - Hands-on coding experience in Java and cloud native integration technologies. Additional Information: - Prior experience with Platform based system integrations. - Strong knowledge of insurance domain integration patterns. - Experience in DevOps, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native deployment models. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
