About Your Team:

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) is hiring an Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Analyst. The analyst will report to APAC EDD Manager and will assist with ensuring the firm complies with applicable AML laws and regulations.

What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:

Conduct ongoing reviews of client profiles and transactions in accordance with IBKR APAC policy and procedures.

Maintain accurate tracking of assignments and request for documentation to ensure appropriate deadlines are met.

Contribute to streamlining current processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Perform negative news and public domain searches on high-risk clients and related parties.

Which skills are required:

The ideal candidate will have regulatory and compliance experience working for an exchange, a regulatory organization, a Broker Dealer or a similar organization. Absent direct industry experience, we will also consider applicants with a solid academic background in law, accounting, data analytics or similar areas. To thrive and succeed in the Interactive Brokers work environment, candidates must be focused, adaptable, collaborative and have strong time management skills.

Preferred qualifications:

High degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology and understanding of how technology is applied to business and regulatory problems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Previous experience in risk assessment, customer due diligence, or similar analysis work is highly preferred

Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational and analysis skills.

Ability to work independently, in a small-team environment, and multi-task with minimal supervision

Professional licenses or certifications are highly preferred.
