YOUR ROLE

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule and Quality adherence for responsible project deliveries

• Engagement with various stake holders like Start center leads, Project Managers (PM), SW PMs, SW/SYS EGMs for estimations, test scope, test strategy and delivery

• To ensure 100% compliance to APTIV PDP, GSCP and ITV Engineering processes

• Define, collect and analyze  key KPIs/metrics, and do necessary course corrections to comply with KPI

• Responsible for ITV project planning in alignment with PDP project schedule maintained by PDP Project Manager and SW iteration plan (if applicable)

• Responsible for proactive Risk Management of ITV projects

• Work closely with counterparts across sites in meeting program deliverables on time with quality

• Responsible for managing a team of around 15-20 Engineers – Talent hiring, effective utilization of resources, team capability development, career development, technical guidance and performance evaluation

• Responsible to maintain team cohesiveness and team work

• Mentor and lead the team technically and professionally to develop a strong and capable ITV team

• Responsible to cultivate competency initiatives in line with Global ITV organization and contribute to establish ITV as COE

• Drive ITV Steering Team strategies and objectives to improve standardization, reuse and leverage global expertise

YOUR BACKGROUND

Experience/Skill Requisites:

• Experience in leading / managing embedded programs (development / testing)

• Experience in planning / tracking project teams supporting multiple regions

• Highly self-motivated and energetic

• Good negotiation and influencing skills – demonstrates ability to respond to changes in requirements, scheduling and resource issues

• Good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal skills with an effective communication and presentation ability

• Good to have Agile SW development / Testing experience

• Experience in ADAS / Body functions/Infotainment domains would be added advantage

• ISTQB Test Manager Certification
