Job Summary
Fusion Life Science Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Senior US Non-IT Recruiter with a strong background in recruiting for Engineering, Medical Device, and Pharmaceutical roles. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working with US clients and be well-versed in US hiring processes, tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099), visa classifications, and contract hiring models (C2C, C2H, FTE).
This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent sourcing capabilities, and strong communication skills to manage full-cycle recruitment for diverse technical and scientific positions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Non-IT roles, including engineering, pharma, medical device, scientific, validation, manufacturing, and quality positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements, technical needs, and project timelines.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for ongoing and upcoming project requirements.
2. Sourcing & Screening
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, Dice, CareerBuilder, Monster, Indeed, job boards, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidates technical proficiency, communication skills, rate expectations, visa/work authorization, and relocation readiness.
- Submit well-qualified candidates to clients with detailed summaries.
3. US Hiring Knowledge
- Strong understanding of US staffing processes and tax terms :
- W2, C2C, 1099
- C2C (Corp-to-Corp)
- C2H (Contract-to-Hire)
- FTE (Full-Time Employment)
- Knowledge of visa types :
- USC, GC, H1B, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, OPT/CPT, TN, E3, etc.
- Ensure compliance and documentation accuracy for all placements.
4. Candidate Interaction
- Maintain strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment and hiring cycle.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Update and maintain candidate records, submissions, interview logs, and hiring statuses in ATS.
- Provide daily and weekly recruitment activity reports.
- Meet SLA requirements and uphold high-quality submission standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of US Recruitment experience (Non-IT) in engineering, pharma, biotech, and medical device domains.
- Proven experience recruiting for roles such as Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Validation Engineers, Quality Engineers, Lab/Scientific roles, Regulatory, Manufacturing Engineers, etc.
- Strong understanding of US tax terms, visas, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using ATS, CRM systems, and job portals.
