Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and scale high-performing engineering teams building large-scale platforms and products used by millions. Youll combine strong technical depth with people leadership, system design ownership, and a forward-looking approach to AI-driven innovation.

What Youll Be Doing

• Lead and deliver large-scale platform and product initiatives impacting millions of users
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to translate complex problems into scalable technical solutions
• Guide teams in adopting AI/ML models and frameworks, exploring use cases like personalization, credit risk, fraud detection, and smart recommendations
• Own system design and architecture for critical services
• Review architecture and code to ensure systems are resilient, performant, secure, and scalable
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices, building a strong engineering culture
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to infrastructure and cloud decisions
• Ensure strong security and data protection practices in collaboration with DevSecOps
• Stay ahead of the curve by continuously evaluating and integrating new tools, trends, and AI technologies

What Youll Need

• 8+ years of experience in backend/frontend engineering, with 2+ years in tech leadership or architect roles
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams on complex projects from idea to production
• Strong hands-on coding skills in Node.js, Python, JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs, cron jobs, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP
• Strong database experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with modern frontend practices (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Webpack, NPM)
• Solid understanding of Git workflows and code lifecycle management
• Exposure to or working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including:
• Personalization engines
• Predictive modeling (risk & fraud)
• NLP (chatbots, document classification)
• Working with APIs from platforms like OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, Vertex AI
