Engineering Manager

Role Overview:

Were looking for a seasoned Hands-on Technologist with expertise in Java + Microservices , Big Data + Python , or UI Technologies . This role blends deep technical involvement with leadership responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys coding while driving architectural decisions and managing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to development with 40% hands-on coding .
• Lead solution design, architecture , and technical strategy .
• Manage and mentor two agile teams/pods .
• Oversee effort estimation, budgeting , and resource planning .
• Handle stakeholder communication , escalation , and risk management .
• Ensure code quality , technical excellence , and delivery timelines .

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience either in:
• Java + Microservices
• Big Data + Python
• Modern UI frameworks
• Solid grasp of system architecture , design patterns , and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Excellent communication , team leadership , and stakeholder management .
• Ability to clear Codility or similar coding assessments .
• AWS or equivalent cloud certification is a plus.
