Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in one or more of the following: Infrastructure Design, Platform as a Service, Backend.

Responsibilities

Understand User Generated Content (UGC) requirements for Geo and help with the solutions to provide the capabilities as a platform.
Support technical direction, prioritize projects. Apply Google's engineering practices in order to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the ecosystem.
Build scalable infrastructure to help maintain trust for UGC for all Geo products.
Collaborate and drive complex projects while engaging with multiple other ML and infrastructure teams within Geo and Google.
