Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Bangalore

Impact & Contribution:
As an Engineering Manager within Payments Technology – Domestic Payments, you will be responsible for implementing the designs. You are expected to develop solutions and guide design to drive outcomes across the Core Product Systems within Domestic Payments. You are responsible for design analysis and the estimation process from Business Case, ideation, discovery and inception phases
Responsibilities:
- Understand our customers' core business objectives and build end-to-end data centric solutions to address them.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering Management and proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
- Lead or participate in the definition, execution, and communication of ETL strategy and technical solution.
- Development of data staging, architecture, and consuming internal and external application interfaces
- Cooperate with business and operational users, other data management staff and infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to client and company guidelines, restrictions, and requirements as well as industry standards.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of agile projects (ideation through implementation)
- Designs technical solutions and consumption patterns for business requirements with increasing complexity.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behavior, actions, and decisions we expect from our people.
- Produce high quality, sustainable solutions to meet business requirements, leveraging approved delivery frameworks.
Essential Skills:
- 12+ Years of experience in building REST APIs
- Well versed with microservice architecture
- Experience in Java/J2EE and Scripting Language (TypeScript/JavaScript/Python)
- Experience in AWS services like lambda, API gateway, EKS Cluster, IM Roles & Policy, Bean Stalk, Fargate, VPC, SubNets, Route tables, Load balancer etc.
- CI-CD Tools – Github, Github Action, Sonar Qube/Cloud, Teamcity/Jenkin, Docker, Kubernetes
- Monitoring and logging tools – Splunk/ObservInc, AppDynamics, Cloud Watch Canary
- Technical leader who can be relied upon to develop and lead engineers
- Technical leadership of tools and technologies within capability (develop, build, test automation, deployment, monitoring & logging, or service management & orchestration) being specialized
- Strong understanding of application architecture and knowledge of software implementation best practices and object orientated design principles
- You are able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components
- Ability to work and participate in an agile (scrum) environment
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
