Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park (Hybrid)
Business & Team: CRC– Financial Crime Technology
Impact & contribution
As an Engineering Manager, you will be part of a squad within the Customer Risk Compliance crew and play key role in delivering key capabilities like building the API s to integrate CBA systems and working on the digitisations of the existing components. You will be working with other engineers across teams and geographies on uplifting business capabilities and modernise our tech stack. Roles & Responsibilities
- Are passionate about building developing and deploying high quality software solutions and part of Team and people management
- Close Interaction with all the Business stakeholders from the discovery phase until the delivery of the requirements
- Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
- Partner with Business, Solution Architects, Product Owners on the Requirement analysis
- Analysing the integration of data from different upstream, downstream sources
- walkthrough of different solution options to the Stakeholders
- Ensuring the solution adhere to regulatory compliance standards as directed
- Leading the design and development of the decisioning solutions.
- Can utilise strong understanding of core business and technical strategies to deliver best business outcomes through technology.
- Can provide thought leadership across projects and delivery teams.
- Should handle resource planning, performance appraisals, exit management, and other team management activities
- Should actively participates in all LT meetings.
- Have the ability to collaborate, present ideas, perform reviews and mentor other junior engineers.
Essential Skills
- Min 13+ years of relevant hands-on work experience in software development
- Development Tools: Pega Decisioning/Marketing, Pega Case, REST APIs, Pega Job schedulers, Campaign management,
- Good expertise in PEGA DSM and Pega Marketing tools.
- Experience in Solutioning, Designing Data Flows, Strategies, Proposition Management, Data Sets, Interaction History and other rules in Pega DSM
- Hands-on experience on NBAD, Real time containers, Real time events is good to have
- Experience on integrations using REST Services methods
- Certifications in recent versions of Pega CPMC/CPDC/CSA is must
- Frontend Technologies: Pega UI Experience
- Streaming platforms like Kafka is good to have skill
- Experience to ensure with guardrails, Coding standards, UI standards is mandatory
- CI/CD: Any Git tool for source control. Build tools like TeamCity or Jenkins and experience with deployment tooling like Octopus or similar.
- Databases: Either of the relational databases like MSSQL / Oracle.
- Monitoring: Familiarization with Splunk or a similar monitoring tool. Any familiarity with performance tooling like AppDynamics is good to have
- Proficient oral and written communications skills to help both the business and your team make the right technical decision.
- Software development experience in Banking domain is must
- Self-managing and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. .
- Willingness to continuously learn new tools and technologies.
- Experience or knowledge in AI Enhanced Software Development
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
