About Role:

We are looking for an Engineering Lead IoT Appliances who will own end-to-end system architecture and lead a team of engineers delivering connected appliance products such as

smart heaters, geysers, kitchen appliances, and water purifiers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the engineering team responsible for IoT product development, focusing on RTOS, MQTT, and RESTful APIs.

Supervise the design, development, and testing of hardware and software components, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, cloud services, and mobile app development, to align efforts and achieve business objectives.

Oversee the integration of BLE and Wi-Fi connectivity in smart devices and manage queuing systems for device communication.

Drive continuous improvement in product development methodologies and engineering processes, adopting best practices in Agile and DevOps.

Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards.

Mentor, train, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in IoT, analyzing their potential for incorporation into product offerings.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in embedded systems, IoT product development, with a focus on RTOS and connectivity protocols.

Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.

Strong knowledge of MQTT, RESTful APIs and cloud connectivity.

Familiarity with Espressif modules (e.g., WROOM series) and associated development environments.

Experience with mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
