We are a product-first, engineering-driven team, currently around 12 engineers and growing to 20+.

Role Overview

Were looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead who enjoys building systems, reviewing code, and guidingengineers.

This role is ideal for a strong senior engineer who wants real ownership, technical influence, and a clear path to grow into an Engineering Manager role as the team scales.

Youwillwork closely with the founderand engineers to shape how our platform evolves.

What YouwillDo

• Own system and feature-level design across backend services
• Be hands-on with coding, code reviews, and architecture decisions
• Review and guide APIs, data models, and integrations
• Act as a quality gate for high-risk changes involving databases, performance, or scalability
• Mentor engineers and raise the overall engineering bar
• Support sprint planning, design discussions, and release readiness
• Help scale the platform while balancing speed, reliability, and long-term maintainability

What Were Looking For

• 712 years of backend engineering experience
• Strong experience in Node.jsandJava
• Solid understanding of system design,cloud architecture,microservices, and REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with databases such as Postgresandperformance tuning
• Experience working with AWS in production environments
• Prior experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer in a product company
• Comfort mentoring engineers with 14 years of experience
• Startup mindset with ownership, pragmatism, and bias for action

Nice to Have

• SaaS,ERPintegration experience
• Exposure to scaling systems or high-availability platforms
• Experience setting up lightweight engineering practices
