The Productivity & Engagement team unlocks employee productivity through its Digital Assistant ecosystem running on every desktop at the firm; drives and measures employee and client engagement via its survey, analytics and event platforms; and provides the digital experience for the firm’s Partnership through its mobile-first Partner Connect app.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated full stack Software Engineer to join this team and deliver new functionality and operational enhancements. Key products you will work on include Partner Connect, with a tech stack that includes Spring-based Java applications, a ReactJS front-end, and AWS components such as S3 and ECS managed via Terraform; and Digital Assistant, an Angular app backed by a set of Java microservices, Redis, and Mongo. You will own the end-to-end delivery, from steering the technical design through to implementation, testing, release and support, and will have the opportunity to see and celebrate the impact of your changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver new functionality, involving a mixture of back-end, front-end, and infrastructural work
  • Identify and drive operational improvements to the security, reliability, resiliency and observability of existing functionality
  • Provide ongoing support on a rota basis
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our products and processes remain cutting-edge

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong programming expertise in Java software development
  • Experience using and developing RESTful web Services
  • Familiarity with basic Cloud deployment principles and practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Team player, eager to learn from and contribute to the success of the broader global team
  • Analytical mindset, creativity, and commercial focus to deliver optimal solutions for the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the some of the following is highly advantageous:
  • Experience designing and deploying Cloud architectures, including the use of Terraform
  • Full stack development with a major web SPA framework such as React or Angular
  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles and practices
