Engineering Consultant – Windows Engineer, Admin Role – Hyderabad

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and maintain Windows Servers (2019,2022,2025) and applications
• Perform Windows Server administration tasks including software and security updates
• Monitor and address server performance and scalability issues
• Research and document technical processes
• Provide direct support to our users
• Use routine troubleshooting methodologies that provide efficient, effective resolution, and minimize impact to the customer
• Adheres to all documented departmental policies, procedures, and knowledge base documentation
• Familiar with ITIL Change Management best practices
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree
• 3+ years Windows (2019/2022/2025) Server administration and support in an enterprise IT or service provider setting
• Experience remediating OS security vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP and DNS
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
• Knowledge of cloud computing
• Solid communication/problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to participate in on-call support rotation

Preferred Qualification:

• Proficiency with a scripting language
