Job Description
Position: Engineer Faade Detailing
Location: Kochi, Bangalore (Hybrid and Remote)
Experience: 3+ years
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review faade shop drawings (curtain walls, glazing, cladding, doors & windows, etc.)
- Coordinate with Senior Engineer, project managers, architects, and structural consultants to resolve design issues
- Lead a small team of junior engineers/drafters when required
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, accuracy, and quality standards
- Manage drawing revisions, RFIs, and technical documentation efficiently
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of drawings
- Contribute to design optimization and fabrication feasibility reviews
Eligibility
- Diploma/Degree in Civil, Architecture, or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in faade detailing with proven AutoCAD expertise
- Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
- Sound knowledge of various faade systems (unitized, stick, ACP cladding, glazing, etc.)
- Experience in handling international faade detailing projects
- Familiarity with BIM tools (Revit) & Inventor will be an added advantage
