Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead who can drive product development, lead a team of engineers, and architects for scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Java, cloud technologies, and engineering best practices. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical roadmap and ensuring the delivery of high-impact products.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end technical development and deliver high-quality product features.

Architect, design, and develop scalable backend applications using Java.

Guide and mentor engineers through code reviews and technical direction.

Work closely with Product and Design teams to convert business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Ensure high standards of coding, performance, scalability, and security.

Troubleshoot complex issues and implement long-term technical improvements.

Oversee sprint planning, effort estimation, and timely feature delivery.

Collaborate cross-functional with QA, DevOps, and UI teams.

Should have hands-on experience in building applications using Spring Boot

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

Strong proficiency in core Java, OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.

Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

In-depth experience building applications using Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and REST APIs.

Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases and strong understanding of data modelling. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.

Understanding security best practices, authentication/authorization, and performance optimization.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork capabilities.

Prior experience managing or mentoring a technical team.

Good to Have

Exposure DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.

Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) for better collaboration with UI teams.
