About the Role

As a Workday Global Integrations and BIRT Report Developer, you will be part of the HR Tools team, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Web Services (WWS), Workday Connectors, and other relevant technologies. You will collaborate closely with the Integrations team to deliver scalable solutions, gather business requirements, and conduct thorough testing to ensure seamless global integration releases.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement Workday integrations based on business needs.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for inbound and outbound Workday integrations.
• Modify, test, and deploy updates to existing integrations as required.
• Develop new integrations to support additional systems interfacing with Workday.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and build BIRT reports tailored to specific reporting requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing BIRT reports in response to evolving needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report execution.
• Translate functional specifications and change requests into technical documentation.
• Ensure integrations meet functional and technical expectations.
• Partner with business and technical teams to design and maintain interfaces, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• You will be working with a global team of approximately 10 members, contributing to a collaborative and innovative environment.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Minimum of 5 to 7years of experience in Workday integration architecture.
• Proven ability to collaborate with third-party vendors on data-related matters.
• Strong background in systems integration and development.
• Proficiency in Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST).
• Solid technical expertise in XML and Java & PECI.
• Hands-on experience with Workday tools including BIRT, EIB, Workday Studio, Report Writer, and iLoad.
• Understanding of database architecture and downstream system impacts.
• Ability to thrive in a global, matrixed organization and communicate effectively across levels.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of managing priorities and working independently with timely follow-ups.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Workday Integration Certification
• Workday Report Writing Certification
