Purpose of Role
As a Quality Engineer you will be supporting the Weir Minerals Netherlands business unit for Quality Engineer of Positive displacement pumps and Grinding machines.

Your day-to-day job will be to work on quality related specifications in projects. These specifications need to be translated and communicated into requirements towards suppliers and manufacturing inspection test plans.

Key roles and responsibility

Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to Weir’s zero-harm behaviours in support of the drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

• Understanding of managing a service to customers at agreed levels of service and quality standards, including the tools, methods and procedures used in the service.
• Create Manufacturing data Handbook for the product delivered to customer
• Create Inspection Test Plan as per Venlo Standards
• Work with Project Engineers / independently in resolving document issues with customers or suppliers
• Create and revise technical documents to the customer
• Execute projects as per defined quality, on time delivery & schedule.

Job Knowledge & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering required with at least 3 years’ experience as Quality documentation engineer
• Hands on experience in SAP
• Experience with Microsoft tool and Acrobat tools
• Basic knowledge and ability to read , interpret on welding standards and process
• Understanding of  document control system, such as SharePoint or PLM, to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Proactive and good communication skills
