Primary Responsibilities
1.    Primary responsibilities include working with Dev/PM/Test to design and implement test and validation strategies throughout the development life cycle
2.    Design and implement robust, scalable, and high quality test automation suites
3.    Write, execute and debug automated test cases, troubleshoot and debug complex systems
4.    Able to mentor other engineers in technical aspect
5.    Experience in communicating with business teams, other development teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
6.    Detect underlying problems, patterns, and looks beyond the obvious. Assist in the analysis of test results to identify the root cause of failure
7.    Identify opportunities for process, tools and test methodology improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
8.    Work with the open source community to scale up test automation practices, and provide robust releases.
 
Required Skills
 
1.    Excellent Design and development skills in either Java or C# is desired
2.    Excellent Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
3.    Need to have a hand on Selenium Automation skills
4.    Knowledge of CI CD pipeline configuration
5.    Exposure to AI & ML is preferred 
6.    Experience with test design, white and grey box testing and automation required
7.    Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
8.    Experience and good understanding of API automation, integration and unit testing in all layers. Understanding of REST/SOAP web service automation is desired
9.    Experience of configuration management tools (GIT / SVN / TFS), configuration concepts  (branching & merging etc.) and continues integration tools
10.     Understanding of Agile development concepts
11.     Strong organizational and team building skills
 
Qualifications
 
1.    2+ years’ experience in software test automation and/or development 
2.    BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
