Job Description Summary:

In this role, we are looking for a Power Systems engineer with experience with power system software(s) preferably PSS/E or PSCAD. Strong individual ownership of projects will come with this role.

Essential responsibilities:

• Handle power system study projects independently
• Adeptly working on different power system simulation software (PSS/e, PSCAD, Powerfactory)
• Conduct renewable integration study & report preparation
• Software script writing, e.g. Python
• Keeping self-up to date on the information /knowledge on Indian Grid Code.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical). M.Tech (Power Systems) is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in power system studies particularly conducting transient and voltage stability studies 
• Experience in conducting renewable integration studies using PSS/E & PSCAD
• Knowledge of CEA network planning criteria & Grid code 
• Experience in development of User Defined Model for equipment (eg. Using Fortran coding)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
