Role Description

• You will be joining the TDI Engineering Platforms and Practice group as a full stack developer working on our target state secure pipelines and control automation squad. The pipeline is a key component in providing a frictionless software delivery experience for our customers and will be used by the entire organization. You will be responsible for designing, building and supporting a variety of automation including GitHub Actions and Workflows and backend process (TypeScript). Your key responsibilities

• Building secure and reusable CICD components to provide provenance and governance around our SDLC practice ensuing high quality compliance
• Integrate with existing developer tooling during the pipeline process to gather information and provide a safe working environment
• Your primary focus will be on software design, development and unit-testing activities including peer code reviews.
• Direct customer engagement to gather requirements and understand the disparate ways teams build software today
• Developing supporting materials (software, training materials, workshops) to facilitate adoption

Your skills and experience

• 8+ years of professional experience and expert knowledge in TypeScript.
• Extensive DevOps experience including extensive automation experience including GitHub Actions, GitHub Actions Workflow, TFE etc.
• Experience of working on public cloud – GCP preferred.
• Understanding of security concerns and frameworks such as SLSA a plus
• Practical experience of test-driven development and constant refactoring in continuous integration environment.
• Experience on modern software product delivery practices, processes and tooling and skills such as CI/CD pipelines using Git Actions etc.
• Define and evolve the architecture of the components you are working on and contribute to architectural decisions at a department and bank-wide level.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.
• A passion for constantly learning and applying new technologies and programming languages in a constantly evolving environment.
