Job Description:

An AMS (Analog Mixed-Signal) verification job involves developing and executing verification plans for mixed-signal chips, which combine analog and digital components. Key responsibilities include creating testbenches, running simulations with tools like Cadence, and debugging issues with design teams to ensure functional correctness and compliance with specifications. 

• Verification Planning: Develop detailed verification plans based on design specifications for mixed-signal blocks (e.g., ADCs, DACs, PLLs).
• Testbench Development: Create testbenches and behavioral models for both analog and digital interfaces.
• Simulation and Debugging: Run simulations using industry-standard tools and flows (like Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, or AMS Designer) to find and resolve design issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with analog and digital design teams to understand requirements, debug issues, and feedback results.
• Performance and Power Analysis: Analyze performance metrics and design scenarios for early power estimation.
• Documentation: Document verification results and ensure compliance with the original design specifications.
• Silicon and Test Correlation: Cooperate on the evaluation of physical silicon and correlation of test results.
