Job Description
Engineer - Material Planner
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Material planning & procurement
- Weekly SAP MRP , call off release to suppliers
- Procurement of parts related to SPD/After market/new projects
- Handling queries from Engineering/PPC/Manufacturing/Purchase
- Ensure Zero down time due to material shortage in line with inventory control
- Supplier delivery performance monitoring/release
- Updation of daily shortage report
- Payment issue handling/escalation
- Follow up with purchasing for PO
- ECN management
- Handling document related issues
- Handling packaging related issues
- Raw material Inventory management & E&O inventory liquidation
- Implementation of lean practices
- Improved relationships with CFT(Other departments)
- MIS report creation(Daily/Weekly/Monthly) SAP/Excel
- Weekly MPS upload / MRP run in SAP/Process parameter setup
Experience/Qualification :
- Qualification required B.E./B.Tech
- Minimum Experience required (post qualification)4~6 Years
- IT exposure SAP
- Communication capability, English/Hindi/ Gujarati
- Multi skilling SCM function
- MS-Office/SAP
