Required Skill Set

• Aerospace Knowledge

Working knowledge of gas turbine engine components and systems and particularly Trent engines

• Failure Analysis Techniques

Proficient in root cause analysis (RCA), fault tree analysis (FTA), Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys and other problem-solving tools.

• Investigative Techniques

Interpret inspection findings (including NDT and teardown reports) to understand failure mechanisms (e.g., fatigue, corrosion, wear, thermal stress). Familiar with failure mode documentation (FMECA and fault Trees).

• Digital Tools & Software

Experience with CAD tools (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks), analysis tools (ANSYS, MATLAB), and data analysis platforms (Python, Excel, Power BI).

• Airworthiness & Compliance Knowledge

Familiar with airworthiness requirements and safety regulations (FAA, EASA, ICAO, etc.), and Continued Airworthiness Management (CAMO) principles.
