Job Description
Zerowatt is an IIT Madras ICbacked industrial AI energy-tech startup helping factories cut up to 30% energy waste through real-time Energy Intelligence.
Were looking for a techno-commercial professional whose primary responsibility is Technical Sales, supported by deep industrial energy expertise.
Openings: 2 Positions
What youll do (Primary Focus Technical Sales):
Lead technical sales discussions with plant heads, utility managers & CXOs
Identify energy inefficiencies during site visits and convert them into ROI-driven proposals
Support pilots, proposals, and technical closures
Position Zerowatt as an energy intelligence partner, not just a monitoring vendor
What youll also contribute (Energy Intelligence):
Feed real-world plant insights into Zerowatts AI platform
Validate dashboards, diagnostics, and rules with shop-floor reality
Help convert field learnings into scalable Energy Intelligence logic
Who should apply:
34 years experience in industrial energy audits / utilities / operations
Strong fundamentals in compressors, motors, boilers, chillers & power quality
Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and handling technical objections
Excited to blend sales, engineering, and AI-driven energy intelligence
CTC: 6 LPA + performance incentives + equity after Year 1
Impact: Directly enable up to 30% energy savings for industrial clients
