Job Description

Summary:

CORE is seeking a highly experienced US Healthcare Software Implementation Project Manager to perform a lead role in managing the implementation of our health care enterprise software solution. The selected Project Manager must oversee all aspects of the software implementation process and maintain complete control on project schedule, budget and risk issues; Facilitate timely decisions to maintain project schedule and budget; Provide management with regular project updates, maintain trusting relationships, identify project risks early and assist by providing prudent and timely recommendations for risk avoidance; Supervise and mentor staff as needed for both project and career growth, and make staff development recommendations.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing health care software projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, customers, or project team members. The right candidate will be aware of all aspects and steps needed to complete an EHR implementation which include but are not limited to functionality related to administrative, clinical, revenue cycle, reporting and interfaces. Priority will be given to those candidates who have prior experience in managing US healthcare EHR/EMR software implementations, and have engaged in US customer facing roles during US working hours.


Job Responsibilities:

  • US customer facing position so must be available during US working hours. We will work with you to organize your working hours accordingly
  • Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the software implementation process for the delivery from pre-kickoff to transition to support
  • Responsible for coordinating the delivery of professional services to customers. Manages the delivery of multiple project initiatives designed to enhance the services and level of support provided to the client.
  • Responsibilities include the overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling and delivery of all projects prioritized in alignment with the client's expectations and business needs to complete the implementation on budget and on time.
  • Manages any scope with respect to changes and/or issues as required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs.
  • Direct the activities of consultants, analysts, specialists and sub-contractors and is responsible for ensuring appropriate resources are allocated and maintained to facilitate the successful completion of multiple projects.
  • Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of project and arranges for team management or assignment of project personnel.
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Prepares project plan updates and status reports for management, client, or others.
  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent training
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Healthcare Management, Insurance industry business and operational knowledge.
  • Consultancy /BD Experience with project management.
  • Healthcare Business Analyst background.
  • Strong Leadership skills along with planning skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem management and resolution
  • Experience with customer relationship management
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to analyze and visualize data, extract insights, and share it across various departments within the organization.
  • Ability to manage the data provided and turn it into actionable information.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced growth environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal support & supervision


Experience:

  • Mandatory 5+ years of experience in US Healthcare Software Implementation Project Management
  • Looking for 12 -18 Years experience in Project Management and end-to-end life cycle experience


Preferred:

  • Experience in health care software implementation projects
