EMEA Supply Chain - Logistics Analyst

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. This is how we work to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. By gathering and analysing financial data we can influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives. What you’ll do:

Requirements:

Cooperate closely with the Global Logistics Team and regional Logistics Finance teams
Ensure compliance with HPE's financial policies and local legal accounting regulations
Reconcile logistics accounts (both reconciler and reviewer roles)
Support audits (internal & external)
Acts as a specialist supporting process improvements, standardizations, and establishing policies.
Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods.
Develop a deeper understanding of the company's financial processes and a detailed business knowledge.

2+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
A solid grasp of the accounting principles and standards.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
Good communication skills.
Adaptability and learning.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Good business acumen.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
