Embedded Systems Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software and hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and product teams to deliver reliable, real-time embedded systems for production use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and debug embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded platforms
• Develop firmware using C / C++ for real-time and bare-metal systems
• Work with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks, etc.)
• Interface with hardware components such as sensors, actuators, and communication modules
• Implement and test communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet)
• Perform board bring-up, debugging, and hardware-software integration
• Optimize code for performance, memory, and power efficiency
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development and issue resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics / Electrical / Embedded Systems / Computer Engineering
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C / C++
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ARM, STM32, AVR, PIC, ESP32, etc.)
• Experience with RTOS concepts and multitasking
• Good understanding of digital electronics and hardware schematics
• Knowledge of debugging tools (JTAG, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems
• Device driver development experience
• Knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP)
• Experience with wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa)
• Exposure to safety-critical or automotive standards (ISO, MISRA, AUTOSAR)

• Debuggers: JTAG, OpenOCD
• Communication tools: Serial Monitor, Logic Analyzer
