Job Description

Designation: Embedded Software Team Lead

Experience: 7 to 10 Years

Budget: 15 to 18 LPA

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of embedded software using C/C++ and Python.
  • Support the design and implementation of multi-threaded RTOS applications and Linux user-space processes.
  • Work with embedded communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, Modbus RTU, RS-485/422, CAN Bus, and automotive standards such as J1939 and UDS.
  • Gain hands-on experience with embedded processors such as Infineon TC38XX, Renesas, Microchip, and STM32.
  • Assist in modifying and enhancing existing software based on customer and project requirements.
  • Support software and hardware debugging using development tools, IDEs (HighTec, TASKING), and testing equipment (debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
  • Learn and apply object-oriented design principles in embedded software development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to collective problem-solving.
  • Understand and follow software development methodologies, with exposure to Agile/SCRUM practices.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively seek guidance to ensure timely and quality deliverables.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.


Required Skills:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
  • Basic understanding of RTOS, Linux, and embedded systems concepts.
  • Familiarity with microcontroller architectures and interfacing protocols is an added advantage.
  • Passion for learning embedded systems and software engineering best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
  • Knowledge of automotive standards and protocols.
