Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware Test Engineer with strong experience in Python-based test automation and firmware testing on Linux/RTOS platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in validating embedded firmware, developing automated test frameworks, and ensuring high-quality firmware releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform embedded firmware testing across Linux and RTOS-based systems
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and PyTest
• Execute manual and automated firmware test cases to validate functionality, performance, and stability
• Analyze firmware behavior, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution
• Develop reusable and scalable Python automation scripts following OOP principles
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities
• Ensure test coverage across system, integration, and regression testing
• Document test results, defects, and test procedures clearly

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python with solid knowledge of OOP concepts
• Hands-on experience in Embedded Firmware Testing
• Practical experience testing firmware on Linux and/or RTOS environments
• Expertise in PyTest framework for test automation
• Experience in test automation development using Python
• Understanding of firmware testing methodologies and test life cycle
• Ability to debug issues and analyze logs in embedded environments

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with embedded hardware platforms and peripherals
• Knowledge of version control tools (Git)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test automation
• Basic understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN)
