Job Title: Embedded Hardware Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of embedded hardware systems for a wide range of applications. The role involves schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, system bring-up, and debugging of embedded systems. includes ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards (FCC, CE, etc.)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded hardware systems including microcontroller/microprocessor-based boards.
- Create schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad).
- Select appropriate components and ensure BOM optimization and DFM/DFT compliance.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and system teams to meet product requirements.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using lab instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, etc.).
- Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance in hardware design.
- Support product development from concept to production and assist in certifications.
- Ensure hardware meets EMI/EMC and wireless regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, IC, ETSI, TELEC, etc.).
- Generate and maintain detailed documentation including schematics, layout, test reports, and user manuals.
- Interface with vendors and contract manufacturers for prototype and mass production.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in embedded hardware design and development.
- Proven track record of successful product development cycles from concept to production.

Must Have Skills
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design.
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, PIC, MSP430, etc.) and peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB).
- Proficient in schematic capture and PCB design tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, or KiCad.
- Hands-on experience with lab instruments: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Knowledge of power management design (LDOs, DC-DC converters, battery charging).
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations and debugging techniques.
- Basic understanding of firmware interfaces to support system bring-up.
- Exposure to environmental and reliability testing standards (ESD, thermal, vibration, etc.) is a plus.
