Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implement the entire software development lifecycle including:      

• Basic and detailed design      

• Coding and implementation      

• Unit, integration, and comprehensive (system) testing      

• Participate in troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancements for existing embedded software systems.      

• Design and develop GUI applications and communication protocols (e.g., GEM/SEMI).      

• Develop and maintain secure communication features, file I/O, and data conversion functions.      

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on server, network, and database construction.      

• Support new OS and product development environments, including vxWorks.      

• Work independently with a proactive mindset, while collaborating effectively in team environments.      

• Learn and apply new tools or technologies as needed for the project.      

Skills:

• 5–8 years of experience in embedded software development using C, C++, C# , Python, Shell Scripting (bash, PowerShell).

• Solid knowledge of object-oriented design and implementation.

• Proficiency in Visual Studio Code, Visual C++ Compiler, C# Compiler.

• Experience with version control systems: Git, Microsoft TFS.

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and GitHub Copilot/Copilot Chat for AI-supported development.

• Experience in medium-scale software development projects (~20k steps).

• Hands-on experience with UML modeling tools and understanding of programming processes.

• Ability to understand project goals and autonomously drive tasks to completion.

• Experience with vxWorks or other real-time operating systems.

• Knowledge of secure communication standards.

• Exposure to industrial communication protocols (GEM/SEMI, etc.).

• Prior involvement in cross-functional infrastructure setups (e.g., server, database, and network environments).
