Position: Embedded Analytics CDS Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Analytics CDS Developer to design, develop, and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) views, ensuring seamless integration of embedded analytics within SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CDS view modeling, SAP S/4HANA, and embedded analytics frameworks, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize CDS Views to support embedded analytics in SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
• Implement annotations, aggregations, associations, and parameters in CDS views to enable smart analytics.
• Integrate CDS views with Fiori Elements , Analytical List Pages (ALP) , KPIs , and Smart Business Cockpits .
• Ensure performance tuning and optimization of CDS views for large data sets.
• Develop and enhance analytical queries and dashboards leveraging Embedded Analytics tools .
• Collaborate with SAP Basis and Security teams to ensure proper authorizations and roles for analytics users.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics features and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA with focus on CDS view development and embedded analytics .
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• ABAP CDS views (basic, composite, consumption views)
• CDS Annotations (UI, Analytical, Authorization, OData)
• Fiori Elements & Analytical Apps integration
• Knowledge of SQL scripting, performance tuning, and data modeling principles .
• Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) , Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
