Email Security SME- Proofpoint

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Email Security Specialist with expertise in Proofpoint to manage and optimize our email security operations.

Experience- 7+ Years

Job Location- Noida

Notice Period- Immediate to 30 Days only

Key Responsibilities:

1.Manage and configure Proofpoint to protect against email-borne threats (e.g., phishing, spam, malware)

2.Monitor and analyse email security alerts, investigate incidents, and respond to threats

3.Develop and deliver internal trainings to stakeholders on email security awareness and phishing prevention

4.Optimize Proofpoint rules, policies, and configurations for effective threat detection and prevention

5.Collaborate with teams to integrate email security with broader security operations

6.Stay updated on emerging email security threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements

7.Provide reporting and metrics on email security posture and incidents to stakeholders

8.Work with IT teams to configure and optimize email security controls (e.g., encryption, authentication)

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of experience in email security with expertise in Proofpoint

2.Strong understanding of email security threats, protocols (e.g., SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and best practices

3.Experience with Proofpoint configuration, tuning, and optimization

4.Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements

5.Relevant certifications (e.g., Proofpoint certification) is a plus
