About Us

PhoQtek Labs is a deep-tech startup building precision inertial sensing and control products for navigation and autonomous systems. You will join as an Electronics Engineer, playing a crucial role in developing these systems.

What You'll Do

Design low-noise analog and mixed-signal circuits (sensor front-ends, filtering, ADC/DAC interfacing)

Own end-to-end PCB design (stack-up, layout, grounding, power distribution, EMI management)

Coordinate PCB fabrication and assembly; lead board bring-up and debugging in the lab

Implement real-time signal processing

Work with photonics-related electronics: photodiode + TIA front-ends, laser diode drivers, precision temperature control, and noise-critical layouts

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

Proven end-to-end ownership of at least 12 custom boards (schematic PCB bring-up working product) in an R&D or product development environment

Strong analog fundamentals: low-noise design, precision amplifiers, filtering, and sensor interfacing

Hands-on lab skills: oscilloscope, signal generators, spectrum analyzers; noise measurement is a plus

PCB design proficiency (KiCad or similar)

Self-starter mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, iterative debugging, and making independent design decisions

Strong Plus

Experience with photonics/optics electronics: photodetector circuits, laser drivers, optical sensing systems, fiber handling

DFM/DFT mindset: designing for testability and manufacturability from day one

Precision measurement background: IMUs, gyroscopes, accelerometers, LiDAR, or similar sensor systems

Nice to Have

Experience with closed-loop control systems

Familiarity with modulation/demodulation techniques

Exposure to environmental testing (thermal, vibration, EMI/EMC)
