Electromechanical Systems engineer / Senior Field Engineer – Electromechanical Components (Pressure Sensors, Switches, Electromagnetics)

Experience: 3-5 years

We are seeking a motivated Electromechanical Engineer who will be deeply involved in R&D activities, focusing on the detailed design and development of sub-components such as coils, sensors, pressure switches, and assemblies.

The role transitions from R&D to field qualification support during testing phases, and later extends to production support to ensure manufacturability and product consistency.

The candidate must be hands-on with electromechanical design, prototype assembly, qualification testing (to MIL standards), and supporting production stabilization.

ABachelors degreein Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering is preferred; however, candidates with aDiplomaand a proven7+ years field experienceare equally welcome.

Key Responsibilities: Perform

Support R&D and production teams during prototype trials and production ramp-up when required

Participate in design and engineering of electromechanical components: coil assemblies, pressure switches, magnetic actuators.

Develop detailed sub-component specifications (winding specs, material specs, housing designs).

Support prototype builds with close coordination with internal teams and vendors.

Prepare and maintain Design Documents, Test Plans, and Failure Modes Analysis.

Installation, commissioning, calibration, and troubleshootingof pressure switches, sensors, and electromagnetic components at our R&D lab/ customer sites.

Independently handlefield testingandqualification trialsin varied environments (industrial, aerospace, or defense setups).

Conductcoil winding, assembly, soldering, and component integration of electromechanical units.

Understanding of military qualification standards (MIL-STD-810, DO-160 etc.).

Experience with basic CAD tools for mechanical layouts and assembly drawings.

Familiarity with test equipment: signal generators, multimeters, oscilloscopes.
