Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical engineering, exposure to construction activities, and hands-on project coordination experience.

Job Description:

Position Overview:

As an Electrical Project Engineer the candidate will support multi-country power and energy projects, bridging engineering deliverables and project execution while coordinating closely with internal teams and site stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Tracking

• Track day-to-day project progress and collect daily/weekly updates from engineering and site teams
• Update and maintain project schedules, milestones, and action trackers
• Share structured progress updates with internal teams and project leads

Engineering Support & Deliverables

• Support preparation and review of electrical engineering deliverables, including:
• Engineering drawings
• Technical documents, schedules, and calculations
• Coordinate inputs between engineering, construction, and commissioning teams
• Assist in resolving design clarifications and site-driven engineering changes

Site & Construction Interface

• Support construction-phase activities through coordination, reviews, and technical inputs
• Participate in site visits as required
• Assist in issue tracking, site observations, and resolution follow-ups

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a coordination point between engineers, project managers, vendors, and contractors
• Participate in internal and client meetings to discuss progress, risks, and next steps

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and/or additional qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field.
• Project coordination or project management support experience is preferred.
• Exposure to construction or site execution activities is preferred.

Skills:

• Written and Spoken English
• Understanding of electrical systems for power, renewable energy, substations, BESS, or industrial projects
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction documents
• Experience working with project schedules, trackers, and progress reports
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and other standard engineering and reporting tools
• Familiarity with engineering documentation and deliverable review processes
• Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills

Location and Start Date:

The position will be based in the Acelerex office in Vadodara, India. Immediate availability is preferred.
