Job Description
Experienced Electrical Engineer who can run many complex issues with minimal oversight. Projects will come in, the engineer will determine the best plan of attack, and be responsible for the execution, analysis, and reporting of results. This engineer will work on a wide variety of products/modules/technologies, executing a wide range of analysis. One day could be an open flex, the next a failed component, the next a shorted MLB.
1) Hands on experience in electrical fault isolation in consumer electronics / mobile phones - experience using capabilities such as LIT (Lock in Thermography), TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry), I-V curve tracing, DMM, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope and application of these capabilities to specific scenarios.
2) Knowledge of failure modes observed in consumer electronic devices such as mobile phones and their components (MLB, Display, Battery, Cameras).
3) A solid understanding of digital circuits.
