Electrical Engineer-Manager/Sr. Manager

Ideal candidate should have more than 10+ year of total experience in Electrical Engineering/Execution of the EPC projects in process industries preferably, chemical plants (ammonia/urea), petrochemical and refineries

Key responsibilities:

• Safety first mindset. Identification of risks in the workplace, site and design work being undertaken. Considering the environmental, commercial, safety and operational aspects of design.
• Thinking creatively and logically to resolve design and execution problems.
• Communicating and liaising with colleagues, subcontractors, vendors and client.
• Participates in contract tender evaluations & vendor negotiations to review technical qualifications (experience, personnel, equipment, etc) for design & executing the scope of work.
• Coordination with utility and/or other stakeholders as required.
• Experience in working with National Grid Codes and compliance verification process with Transmission System Operator and Distribution System Operator
• Responsible for making the technical deliverables related to electrical engineering (e.g., single line diagram, electrical interface diagrams, load lists).
• Provide start-up and commissioning support for electrical distribution equipment and motors.
• Liaising with existing suppliers and outsourcing partners
• Overall technical assurance for electrical equipment engineering which includes assurance that the engineering deliverables are done correctly and technical sign-off of changes. This also includes ensuring that the final detailed design is done per the final project specifications.
• Preparation & Execution of the technical assurance plan including technical oversight of the engineering firms and the management of change process (technical assurance). This also includes validation of the engineering contractors technical assurance processes and engineering deliverables.
• Work together with the lead QA/QC engineer the quality assurance and control of contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers in the electrical equipment engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• M.Tech./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from reputed institutes.
