Key Roles and Responsibilities

Infrastructure Maintenance & Repair: Conducting preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical systems across the campus, including high-voltage equipment and building utilities.
Design & Installation: Designing, planning, and overseeing the installation of new electrical systems, circuits, and components to improve efficiency and capability.
Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all electrical installations, repairs, and infrastructure meet regulatory requirements and safety codes.
Project Management: Managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors or contractors for outsourced services.
Technical Support for Research: Supporting faculty and researchers by setting up, testing, and calibrating specialized equipment in laboratories.
Administrative Duties: Documenting system specifications, creating, and updating maintenance records, and preparing technical reports.
