Position: Electrical Draughtsman

Industry: BESS/Wind/Solar/PSS

Experience: 4 +years

Software:AutoCAD & PVCase, E3D, MS Office (Excel, Word) PVsyst, GIS software (Optional)

Job Details:

Key Responsibilities: Design and Drafting: Prepare and update electrical drawings, SLD, schematics, and layouts. Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to produce technical plans and blueprints. Develop 3D models and extract 2D drawings as per requirement Technical Compliance: Review project requirements, specifications, and design concepts from engineers to ensure accuracy. Ensure drawings and designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to resolve design issues and implement solutions. Provide technical information and ideas to support the engineering team. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of design changes and follow document control procedures. Prepare and assemble comprehensive documentation packages. Quality Assurance: Check technical drafts for accuracy in calculations, measurements, and units. Perform quality checks on drawings for function, fit, and submission. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVcase). Strong attention to detail and precision. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and sketches. Familiarity with electrical systems and their components. Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders.
