Electrical Design Engineer - Special Purpose Machine (SPM)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and development of control systems for special-purpose machines, process machines, and testing machines . The role involves end-to-end electrical design activitiesfrom understanding customer requirements and concept development to detailed design, documentation, quality delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirements and develop electrical control concepts.
• Define scope of delivery and system requirements within budget.
• Create detailed electrical designs and documentation using E3S & EPLAN (schematics, wiring, BOM).
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project teams.
• Support troubleshooting during manufacturing and assembly.
• Ensure design quality, compliance with standards, and on-time delivery.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and SPM automation.

Preferred:

• Experience in robotics, pick & place systems, or custom industrial automation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with E3S & EPLAN.
• Exposure to project budgeting and BOM control.
