Your RolePropose original equipment manufacturer components and materials for cable design.Demonstrate attention to detail and ensure high quality in engineering documentation.Identify and mitigate technical risks during project execution.Advise and consult suppliers during the product development phase to translate engineering requirements into specifications.Collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams for problem solving and design verification and validation.Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards and schedules.Implement process improvements as necessary.Deliver projects on time with quality, aligned with key performance indicators and performance metrics.Your ProfileDiploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering with five to seven years of experienceORBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering with three to five years of experience in cable or cable harness design within the semiconductor equipment or capital equipment industry.Experience working in cable harness, schematic design, and interconnect using electrical engineering computer aided design tools such as E3 Zuken, E Plan, Ideas, PCAD, or similar computer aided design packages.Knowledge of original equipment manufacturer component selection, cable accessories, and alternate component search.Familiarity with relevant design standards and compliance including Underwriters Laboratories 508, International Electrotechnical Commission standards, Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International electrical standards, and Institute for Printed Circuits 620.Experience with engineering change management processes.What You’ll Love About Working HereWe value flexibility and support our employees with remote work options and adaptable schedules to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
