Role Overview

As the Academic Data Analyst, you will be the Chief Product Officer of the Classroom. Your goal is to move away from legacy teaching methods and build a scalable, high-performance academic ecosystem. You will leverage data analytics and AI to ensure that every student from Grade 1 to 12 reaches their peak potential.

Key Responsibility Pillars

1. Data-Driven Pedagogy & Learning Analytics

• Architect Learning Metrics: Move beyond marks. Design KPIs to measure conceptual clarity, cognitive load, and retention rates.
• Predictive Analysis: Use assessment data to identify "at-risk" learners before they fail and "high-potential" learners who need more challenge.
• Loop Closure: Create a feedback loop where data from exams directly dictates the next weeks lesson plans and teacher training modules.

2. AI & EdTech Transformation

• AI Integration: Implement AI-driven tools for automated grading, personalized content generation, and teacher assistance.
• Digital Infrastructure: Evaluate and deploy school management systems that treat "schooling" as a seamless data flow from Grade 1 to 12.
• Future-Proofing: Research and integrate global best practices (Singapore Math, IB frameworks, etc.) into the local curriculum using tech.

3. Operational Excellence & Systems Design

• Process Optimization: Treat the school timetable and resource allocation as an optimization problem to maximize teacher-student contact time.
• Teacher Mentorship (The "Train the Trainer" Model): Use structured frameworks to upskill staff, ensuring high-quality delivery even at scale.
• Strategic Governance: Ensure all academic programs are compliant with national standards while exceeding them in execution.

Who You Are (The IIT Fit)

• Education: B.Tech/Dual Degree from an IIT (Any branch). We value your first-principles thinking more than a degree in Education.
• Experience: 13 years of experience in high-growth startups, EdTech, or consulting. (Freshers with exceptional leadership records are welcome).
• Analytical Stack: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is mandatory; knowledge of AI Tools is massive plus.
• Mindset: You are a "Builder." You don't just identify problems; you design the system that fixes them.
